We will be staying in the extremely well appointed guest houses of Combermere Abbey. The grade I scheduled Abbey was built in 1130 as a Cistercian Monastery. In later life it became a private home. Its current owner is in the midst of a major restoration programme involving the Georgian wing. 

Visits are planned to a fine group of country houses in the area including Weston Park.
